TIME TO SAVE NIGERIA JUDICIARY.
About this event: Uniting The Nigerian Peoples And Culture

Translations available in: English (original) | German

It is becoming more clearer now that corruption want to take over Nigeria Judiciary, despite the current achievement the leadership of Hon. Justice Issa Ayo Salami has recorded since his inception as the incumbent President of Nigeria Court of Appeal.

We are all witness to the pace at which individual are been robbed of their rightful judgment's been given to their opponents for because they are politically connected or either have money to bribe. As witness in, Edo, Ekiti, Osun Governorship Election Tribunal Judgment's, despite the effort of former Governor's politically and financial effort being engaged to upturn the truth from coming out and want the judgment's in their favor at all cost.

Osun State is a typical example of which corruption to the Judge was publicize in the media, victory was later given to the winner of that election.

Another case was that of Sokoto State, a lot of controversies was generated and hopefully, we pray the truth come out at the end of the day.

Federal Judicial Service Commission. (F.J.S.C) Has nominate the name of sitting President of Nigeria Court of Appeal to be appointed as a Judge of Supreme Court of Nigeria. THIS IS ABSURD.

It has never been heard in the world history that head of Court of Appeal can be nominated to go to higher court and shall become junior to a serving Judge at the Supreme Court bench.

The current Chief Justice of Nigeria. Hon. Justice A. Katsina-Alu and President of Court of Appeal. Hon. Justice I.A. Salami are both mate at the bench and head of their various court.

For political reason, FJSC nominate his name for ratification as Judge of Supreme Court of Nigeria, whereas no vacant position is available for such appointment at the Supreme Court bench.

The current Chief Justice of Nigeria is due for retirement this year and by tradition of the bench, the next serving Judge next to the current Chief Justice of Nigeria at the Supreme Court bench is automatically the next person to become the Chief Justice.

The President of Court of Appeal nominate Judge under him to go to the Supreme Court of Nigeria and shall become a Judge by recommendation of National judicial Council subject to ratification by National Assembly.

How come they are now changing the rules?

Election is around the corner and this money bag politician's are so desperate to ensure that they get Hon. Justice Issa A. Salami out of office as the President of Court of Appeal in order to pave way for their election fraud has been perpetrated in the past because by him sitting as the President of the Court, they know Salami for his words, he doesn't bend rules.

I have been following this man Judgment's since his days at the High Court of Justice of Kwara State up to this present time, and for those that knows him will attest to this.

Salami is to retire as the President of Court of Appeal by 2013, why do they want to force his hand for early retirement now? Because they know Salami would not for any reason settle for less, he would rather retire than be a junior at the Supreme Court bench to his junior's.

Nigeria Bar Association have taken steps in ensuring that this type of lopsided administrative murder is not committed by the Judiciary, we need to support the call on the National Judicial Council headed by the current Chief Justice of Nigeria. Hon Justice A. Katsina-Alu not to commit this act of Administrative murder to the person of Hon Justice Issa A. Salami. President of Court of Appeal.

We have had enough of this politician's excesses in turning our Judiciary to a dumping ground and some Political Judges be identify and shown the way out to sanitize our Judiciary.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

We do not need to remind our President of the event in Egypt as occasioned by mis-rule.

Letter to the President of Nigeria.

My open letter as sent to Mr. President.

Today.

Mr. President,

Its very disheartening that your candidacy is coming when Nigeria politicians are busy running down our great country Nigeria.

I have been watching Nigeria politics with its up and down trends for about 20 years. Not because you are president; the truth is, your emergence was timely when some crazy notable politicians are hell bent in turning Nigeria to their private estate. Its also important to let you know that 99.9% of people who are working to actualize your dream come 2011, are not doing it for the love of this country or your person, instead for their individual interests and personal gains.

Nigeria is far behind development and we have all it takes to be among the 5 best nation in the world. Why are we at this mess?

We witness in our various state of federations where the Executive Governor of State create personal income for their political friends and associates. i.e, Special Assistance, Executive Assistants and Personal Assistants. All these office gulp a lot of public funds to maintain, yet they have no significant role in improving our economy. Having satisfy the statutory requirements of two tenures, they still head to senate whereas majority of them have no significant developmental project to justify their 8 years in office.

Please address this area as a sitting President.

Your proposed budget for 2011.

We cannot have a significant development where your overhead vote rises far above capital vote.

The salary structure should be reviewed downwards and all entitlements attached to political offices, as witnessed in some other part of the world.

We will continue to have this crisis so long the monetary benefits is too attractive, because majority of the politicians are after the monetary aspect attached to the office.

You may wish to address the spate of abuse of office by political office holder having security details attached to them, Sen. Folarin's case is a litmus test as alleged, if he's not having the number of security as claimed in the media, i am very sure he will not have been involve in the alleged crime and would have stayed out of trouble.

Please save Nigeria sir.

Politics in Nigeria.

Chief. Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola.

If God has made it possible for this Late politician to clinch to Presidency as wished by all of us who voted him on June 12th, 1993. Presidential election, may be. We would have been far gone in stabilizing Nigeria politics by now. Kudos to evil genius. Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida. (Rtd).

To the current Nigeria wave of politicking, it is very sad that we have lots of miscreants as politicians in our system, with a population of over 150 millions, most of the Governor's who have serve two terms tenures has won their party nominations to contest for a senatorial elections in their various constituencies. Are the the only one who can lead their people, despite the state of disrepair they brought their state to?

We are all a witness to spate of fast tracking social-economy developments as demonstrated by Gov. B. R. Fasola of lagos state, can we ask his colleagues if they have not been visiting lagos state? Disgrace former Governor of Osun state.Olagunsoye Oyinlola who has his 2007 election quashed by Court of Appeal Ibadan Division not to have won the election as claimed by him in 2007 last November 2010. Went to celebrate successful exit from office after 7 1/2 years in Governance in his home town Okuku, attended by his likes mind of I.B.B and Co. Lets ask him his achievement socialy and economically for the period he govern the state.

Nigerians should wake up to the call this time around, lets put sentiments behind us, we need to vote for a dynamic, energetic, visioneer, reputable and ideaology leader this time around, enough from this crazy poeple, they have put our future behind schedule for too long and yet they feel, they are the only credible candidate who should rule us at all cost.

Look at the instant of Gen. Buhari M. (Rtd), he was military head of state when i was in form two at high school. Yet he still consider himself relevant in Nigeria political terrain, who has the ability to take us to promise land. We are all witness to how his government was run by his liuetanant then. His leadership ability was put to test during Abacha regime when he head Petroleum Trust Fund. This man time has expire as  rightly pointed to him by Nasir El-Rufai. Eormer F.C.T minister. So also most of his contemporaries.

We must salvage Nigeria from all this shallow minded leaders who put us behind future, change is require for Nigerians to vote the man who has been trusted by his former records and can send Nigeria to its deserved ranking among the committee of nation in the world.

LETS SAVE NIGERIA.

"AIDS" FUTURE FOR THE ORPHANAGE.

Greetings,

Today will be the first time ever i am trying to look into this topic.
A lot have been said by various speakers and writers, but small result has so far been achieved.
It is very sad that most nations across the globe believed the scurge of HIV/AIDS is all about government responsibility and our various NGO's also mostly relied on foreing grants and infact little was achieved.
I my opinion, i think a concourent audits from donor nations and organizations be carried out on routine basis to asses their activity and make amendments where need be.
We have witness cordinators of this programmes living a flamboyant life after securing a grants and left the purpose for which the grants is made for to suffer, all this orphan should be allowed a chance to be something in life, it is their right.
Thank you all.

IS WARS INEVITABLE ???
About this event: 1st African International Youth Summit SA 05
Related to country: United States

Translations available in: English (original) | French | Spanish | Italian | German | Portuguese | Swedish | Russian | Dutch | Arabic

I suppose we have been denied a right of a lifetime that could have save a hundred of innocent souls of women and children, who could have been opportune to give hope and direction to our world.
I would like us to look at the causes of various wars across the globe. Vietnam war, Japan/China war, Apartheid South Africa war, United State of America invasion of Iraq, Nigerian civil war, Sudan war, Angola war, Sierra Leone war, Liberia war, Israeli/Palestine war, Iran/America war threat, and various sectarian violence across the world over.
In my opinion this wars are avoidable if truly we wish to be at peace with our neighbors, for instance why should I because I want to become untouchable begin to spend close to 60% of my nation annual budget in stocking my armory with a fear of invasion from another nation I am trying to out-weight in terms of military might?
War is all about showing supremacy to your opponent whom you feel should take instructions from you, and if we are to be honest with ourselves. Why should a sovereign nation take instruction from another nation or trying to do her wish to avoid its wrath?
We wake up every day to watch on news how military rose from their barracks and went into presidential palace to seize power. This would not have been possible if, we do not over equip our military, it is understand able the insurgence crime rate which need to be control at our various nation.
It is understood that if a nation over equip her armory, she is prone to go to war at any slightest opportunity; even if the war in question has nothing to do with her jurisdiction.
A nation that over equip her military is always eager to go and fight a senseless war after which she will be the first person drumming support for international aid to come to the assistance of the invaded nation, whereas her own internal crisis that has to deal with, economic, political, education, agriculture and host of other is left un-attended.
Uganda under Late Idi Amin who died in Saudi Arabia village sometimes in August 2004, witness one of the craziest power drunkardness in Africa where her people suffer senseless broad-day light murder, rape and all sort of maiming; despite this man heinous crime against humanity, he was house and given all right due to a former leader in Saudi Arabia, he was never tried for his crime either despite visible evidence; I personally watch one of his son defending his father role of his government, asserting all leaders kills and querying why his father case will be treated as exception on Aljazeera news network early this year.
Former Liberia warlord, Charles Taylor. United Nations and the rest of world regional organization treated him untouchable while he was in power, had it been there was an existing legislation to stop him while on rampage then, thousands of souls would have been save and a lot of money conserved for meaningful developmental purpose.
Nigeria today is known to be the giant of Africa, of which all Nigerians are proud of; but as a Nigerian it is disheartening to tell the world, what we are going through internally for the sacrifice our leaders are making on our behalf to play a fatherly role in Africa.
If those war that is ravaging our continent are well looked into before embarking on them perhaps, the resources expended to those nation in wars situations would have been well utilized internally for the development of our nation which can as well be extended to our sister’s country in terms of development.
In united nation today, ever since her establishment over 50years ago and other regional bodies; they have all failed us. One would expect them to at their various levels of operation make an enabling laws that would allows regional body organizations to take control of power from any leader, who instigate or start a war in her own country or another nation.
World crime tribunal for past leaders who has committed genocide or crime against humanity can only attain 0.2% judgment punishment, as in my own opinion ; the punishment passed onto any guilty past leaders can never bring back our loved ones who might have suffered their cruelty, either; revenge is always the order of the day; we all are witness to Iraqi scenario and saw the aftermath event of Saddam Hussein execution, Iraqi today is ravaging in sectarian war.
By this if we are yet to end the various wars across the globe, at least it will give us a peace of mind that there is no likely hood of any upcoming wars anywhere in the world.
Most of us must have read a lot from our holy book of worships, almighty God has promise not to destroy this world again with water as it is the case in time of Noah; well according to that great man who saw tomorrow “Nostradamus” he predicted in his book that the last war that will bring this world to an end will start from gulf region and its cause shall be the minerals resources from the soil.

It is clear to the entire world that gulf region is, “middle east” and their main source of economy is “oil from the soil” ; why can’t we seat and put head together and try to bring to minimal the catastrophe that await to befell our world and pray to almighty to be compassionate with us?
By this we would have serve humanity and have pleaded with the creator of heaven and earth while alive to grant us his compassion here in the world and thereafter; wars is never the solution to world problem over, we had better make use of the grace we have now before it is too late, I think we have to sacrifice this for the generation unborn to appreciate our existence now and when we are no more.
Thank you all for your attention and God bless.
